In the course, Imagineers share how they use a wide range of skills – from story development and conceptual design to math, physics, and engineering – to create immersive experiences. Disney Imagineering Course Overview

Lesson 1: Creating worlds

In the first lesson dive into making your own land. Learners will explore what makes a great theme for their land and how to tell a story with their theme. Next move to set up, layout, design, materials, and graphics. Kids even walk through making a menu, color choices, music and choosing landscaping for your special land.

Lesson 2: Designing Attractions

In this lesson, it’s time to design rides and theme park attractions! Kids will learn what goes into concepts, pitching, and storyboards. It’s time to make the fun happen! The lesson also touches on scale, systems, and simulation.

Lesson 3: Bringing Characters to Life

The final Disney parks lesson includes developing characters and discovering what goes into great park entertainment. Kids will work on character sheets, costumes, and prototypes.
