Like so many Disney fans, my number one must-have snack at Walt Disney World is the Disney pineapple Dole Whip recipe. Make this creamy family favorite at home with this easy three ingredient recipe.

Refreshing and tangy, this cool treat is great for warm summer days. With only three ingredients, it’s cheap to make for a crowd and can be made ahead of time. 

Dole pineapple sorbet can be easily be doubled {or even tripled!} and stored in the freezer for up to two weeks.

How to Make Pineapple Sorbet at Home

To get started, gather a medium saucepan, a measuring cup, the tools you need to clean and cut the pineapple. You’ll also need a blender or food processor, along with a pan to freeze the fresh pineapple sorbet in.

You’ll also need fresh pineapple and sugar to make the dessert.

First clean and cut the fruit, setting it aside. 

Add the sugar and water to the medium saucepan and bring the mixture just to a boil over medium-high heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and makes a simple syrup.

Remove the simple syrup from the heat and combine it with the fruit.

Process in the blender or food processor in small batches, blending until completely smooth.  Pour the mixture into a pan, cover, and cool completely. Freeze overnight.

Dole Whip Pineapple Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pineapple, cleaned and diced
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

Dole Whip Directions:

1. Clean and cut fruit.
2. In a medium saucepan, bring water and sugar just to a boil over medium-high heat.
3. Stir until sugar is dissolved to make simple syrup.
4. Remove from heat and cool.
5. Stir simple syrup together with fruit.
6. Process in blender or food processor in small batches.
7. Blend until completely smooth.
8. Pour mixture into pan, cover and cool completely.
9. Freeze overnight.
10. Store leftovers in freezer for up to 2 weeks.
